Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

I just noticed that there are a lot of cartoon reboots for this year and the following.

two of these that get my attention is TMNT and BIKER MICE FROM MARS..

both have a lot of pro voice crew... particularly by ROB PAULSEN..

yeah, and they're rebooting them again..
the interesting part of 2006 is.. they got influenced a lot by asiatic cartoons.. (more robots, more explotions and they made the main chars more "bishonen" and less "rambo" like.. also awful 3d in the motorcicles lol )

Also love how theres like.. almost TMNT reboots every year.. with better animation each time.

i have seen the reboot of biker mice from mars and teenage mutant ninja turtel.
and i'm impressed, how better they became.

samurai pizza cats was a very old cartoon from japan.. which was more serious.. Saban(the ones of the POWER RANGERS) took the series and cut, chopped, added a shitton of stories that made absolutely no sense.. it was hilarious!
